high-impact initiatives including being the main sponsor of Big Brother Mzansi,
launching several major events across the country, and executing strategic marketing
campaigns, Robertsons Spices is ready to unveil their next exciting chapter with the
‘Robertsons 100 Years Mall Activation Campaign.’




As Robertsons Spices enters its next century of spice mastery, the campaign promises
to deliver a captivating experience that brings the brand closer to its loyal fans while
introducing the magic of Robertsons Spices to new audiences. This thrilling campaign
will take place across seven malls in three provinces, featuring food tastings, and
interactive engagements with top influencers.
Leading the charge is South Africa’s beloved Chef Benny Masekwameng, a culinary icon
known for his inspiring journey from Alexandra township to becoming Southern Sun’s
Executive Chef and cooking for international dignitaries. Chef Benny will be showcasing
his expertise through delicious dishes prepared with Robertsons Spices, providing
attendees with a taste of the incredible variety the brand offers.
Joining Chef Benny are Big Brother Mzansi housemates Makhekhe, Zee, Mich, and
Chuenza. These popular influencers will amplify the excitement, engaging with fans and
sharing their unique perspectives on the Robertsons Spices experience. They will kick
off the campaign by driving anticipation on social media, provide live updates during the
mall activations, and wrap up with content that captures the essence of each event.
Attendees will be able to sample a variety of dishes prepared using Robertsons Spices,
giving them a taste of the incredible spices the brand has to offer.
This immersive tasting experience will allow visitors to discover new favourites and see how versatile
and delicious Robertsons Spices can be.
In addition to the live events, attendees will receive pocket-sized menus featuring the
dishes prepared with Robertsons Spices. Each menu will include a QR code that
participants can scan after trying out the recipes at home, entering them into a contest
for a chance to win cool and awesome prizes. Plus, consumers who purchase two
Robertsons Spices during the activations stand a chance to win a Weber braai. This
interactive element ensures the excitement continues beyond the mall activation,
encouraging fans to share their culinary creations on social media.
Throughout the mall activations, visitors can explore spice sampling stations, taste a
variety of Robertsons Spices, and discover new favourites. Meet-and-greet sessions
with Chef Benny and the influencers will provide fans with opportunities to ask
