The 2026 competition is the first full season under the ownership of the Motsepe Group, which acquired the pageant in 2024, ending the tenure of Weil Entertainment. Africa Fashion International (AFI), founded by Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, now shapes the pageant’s identity, bringing a fashion and luxury creative infrastructure to the organisation.
