ASICS Introduces the Rise & Shine Collection and Debuts the New Sonicblast 2
The new sunrise-inspired collection features iconic running silhouettes and introduces the new Sonicblast 2 shoe.
ASICS has unveiled the Rise & Shine Collection, inspired by the energy, optimism, and mental uplift that come with moving at sunrise. Alongside new sunrise-inspired colourways across some of ASICS’ most iconic running shoes, the collection introduces the new Sonicblast 2, designed to deliver an even lighter, more energetic, and responsive running experience.
Designed to support every type of runner, the Rise & Shine Collection brings together 8 iconic ASICS running shoes, each reimagined in vibrant sunrise-inspired colourways — rooted in the ritual of early morning movement and the positive impact it can have on both body and mind.
Introducing the Sonicblast 2
At the heart of the collection is the new Sonicblast 2, the latest evolution of ASICS’ energetic super trainer, built to deliver an even lighter, bouncier, and more responsive ride. The model features a redesigned forked Astroplate — technology unique to the Sonicblast franchise within the Blast family — allowing FF Turbo Squared cushioning to extend further through the midsole and into the trampoline pod for enhanced propulsion.
A dual-foam midsole construction combines FF Turbo Squared cushioning with FF Blast Max foam for an energetic toe-off and highly responsive ride, while a new engineered mesh upper improves breathability and comfort. The overall design comes in roughly 14 grams lighter than its predecessor.
