BoomFriday – The Weekly Underground Sound Ritual

Every Friday, we flip the script and dive deep into the sonic underworld. BoomFriday is not just a party — it’s a weekly musical experience, an open stage where SA’s most underground, backroom, and unfiltered DJs step into the light to showcase their selection, their story, and their sound.

Hosted in intimate, dimly lit venues where vibe matters more than velvet ropes, BoomFriday celebrates raw energy, crate-digging culture, and the DJs who live to move the room. Expect anything from deep house, dub techno, amapiano flips, baile funk, alt-rap, or whatever our selectors bring from the backrooms of the city and the front lines of their playlists.

We handpick talent that flies below the radar but leaves a lasting impression. Each week offers a new flavor, a new voice, and a new perspective on how music should feel when the bass is real, the crowd is close, and the booth feels like home.

Whether you’re a music head chasing rare cuts or someone who just wants to lose themselves in the rhythm, BoomFriday is where you reconnect with sound without ego, algorithm, or pretense. Just vinyl (sometimes), USBs, real selectors, and heavy vibes.

Come early. Stay late. Tell no one. Invite everyone.

BoomFriday – every week, the underground rises.
