What did Cardi B perform?
The set list, in order:
| # | Song |
|---|---|
| 1 | Hello |
| 2 | ErrTime (reworked for the Desk) |
| 3 | Man of Your Word |
| 4 | Be Careful |

Who played with her?
Cardi B performed with a live band led by music director Adam Blackstone on bass and keys. The line-up also included DJ Ray G, keyboardist Eugene Roberts, guitarist Clayton Sears, drummer Cedric Thompson, saxophonist Kenneth Whalum, trumpeter Melvin Jones, and background vocalists Tiffany Stevens and Ebony Franklin.
What was the atmosphere like?
NPR says the crowd was one of the biggest it has had, with people turned away at the door once word spread that Cardi B was coming. She performed in leather pants and a tailored blazer, and NPR describes a humorous, humble tone. Billboard’s coverage also notes the latex pants and a funny aside between songs, and calls it one of the most anticipated Tiny Desk concerts in recent memory.
What is the Tiny Desk series?
Tiny Desk is NPR Music’s concert series, in which artists perform stripped-back sets at a desk in the NPR Music office. The format puts the band, the arrangements and the songwriting in the foreground, which is why artists often rework hits for it, as Cardi B did with “ErrTime.”

Why does this matter?
