Following the icy detachment of “Rock Music,” Charli xcx leans even deeper into her post-BRAT universe with “SS26” — a razor-sharp, club-ready spiral through fashion, fame and the fantasy of collapse. Arriving with a striking official music video, the single turns the language of luxury runway culture into a bleak prophecy, where seasonal collections soundtrack the end of the world.

Driven by pulsating electronic production and Charli’s signature deadpan delivery, “SS26” trades optimism for stylish nihilism. “Spring Summer 26 when the world is going to end,” she chants over a relentless beat, capturing a generation dancing through disaster with immaculate styling and no illusion of escape. It’s glossy, cynical and unapologetically self-aware.
Lyrically, Charli skewers the performative machinery of modern celebrity culture — from cancellation cycles to hollow PR apologies — while questioning whether music, fashion or film can offer any real salvation. The accompanying visual extends that tension beautifully, placing high fashion against an atmosphere of looming ruin, and cementing “SS26” as another bold evolution in Charli’s increasingly conceptual creative world.
