Steenberg’s finest red wines. Set alongside the blazing hearth and the intimate interiors of Bistro
1682, expect hearty flavours, seasonal ingredients, and award-winning wines that bring new comfort
to the wintery nights of the Cape Winelands.

Steenberg is celebrating International Sauvignon Blanc Day throughout May, proudly highlighting its
status as a specialist Sauvignon Blanc producer. With 67% of Sauvignon Blanc vines planted, the
Steenberg terroir is perfectly suited to this varietal. This dedicated focus allows Steenberg to
showcase the versatility of Sauvignon Blanc, crafting different styles with expert craftsmanship.
The tasting room promises a unique experience, featuring three distinct Sauvignon Blanc styles
alongside a vintage bottle to exemplify the agreeability of their wines. Guests can savour these
tastings at Tryn before their dinner reservation from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 19:00, or
