South African singer-songwriter and rapper Tiga Maine is back with a new single, “Trenches,” featuring Mseventy DeeTee and Sauwcy.
Produced by Deejay Boe, the track taps into themes of success, celebration, motivation and enjoying the journey.
Rather than leaning into a heavy or introspective mood, “Trenches” brings a more upbeat energy, with an infectious hook and feel-good production that makes the track an easy addition to the playlist.
Tiga Maine Brings Mseventy DeeTee & Sauwcy Along
“Trenches” gives Mseventy DeeTee and Sauwcy space to add their own character to the record, with their distinct vocal performances complementing Tiga Maine’s rap verse.
The combination gives the song a dynamic feel, moving between melodic vocals and rap while keeping the energy consistent throughout.
Deejay Boe’s production provides the foundation, creating an upbeat backdrop that allows each artist to bring their own flavour to the track.
A Feel-Good Record From Tiga Maine
At its core, “Trenches” is about coming through the struggle, celebrating progress and making the most of life.
The song carries the kind of energy that works whether you’re playing it in the car, with friends or turning up on the dancefloor.
It’s another example of Tiga Maine leaning into music that connects without taking itself too seriously.
Tiga Maine’s Growing Catalogue
