FASHION FAVES SPOTTED AT CAPE TOWN FASHION WEEK

In celebration of 15 years, the Africa Fashion International (AFI) Cape Town Fashion Week

finally made its much-anticipated return to the Mother City.

AFI has played a pivotal role in establishing Cape Town as one of the important global fashion

cities alongside Paris, New York, London and Johannesburg – and certainly did not disappoint.

While designers like MasaMara, House of Nala, Imprint ZA and Taibo Bacar showcased breath-taking designs down the runways, it was the attendance of the who’s-who in the fashion world that grabbed fashionistas’ attention.

Here’s who was spotted at this year’s red carpet and closing show:

Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida dazzled on the red carpet, wearing an exclusive

archive garment by Ronald van der Kemp x G-Star RAW. The garment was created in 2020 as part of an upcycling anniversary collection with the famous Dutch designer.

Nyambo MasaMara, founder and creative director of Masa Mara, stood out from the crowd in eccentric designs both on and off the runway.

Award-winning editor and creative director, Asanda Sizani is seen in a one-of-a-kind G-Star RAW Couture dress, showcased exclusively at New York Fashion Week.

Media personalities @vicky_vee_jonas and @palitembe turned up the heat with their classy chic looks.

Model and reality TV star Qiniso van Damme turned heads looking ethereal in a show stopping tulle gown from @alchemy_cpt.

Fashion stylist and content creator Zeenat Khan stepped out in a pleated bow-top by G-Star RAW x David Laport.

Model @annettegrobler attended the show wearing an animal print ensemble with sheer statement gloves.

Model @wholelifejustagame joined the festivities in a custom Italian-designer suit.
