The store is designed as what Louis Vuitton calls an “experiential destination” rather than a conventional retail space. The Winter Garden
Set at the rear of the store, the Winter Garden is a plant-filled, naturally lit space used for private shopping appointments and events. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the Victoria Basin harbour, blending the interior with the waterfront setting outside. The space displays archival Louis Vuitton trunks and pieces from the brand’s Objets Nomades collection alongside furniture from South African company Weylandts and artwork by Namibian artist Nicky Marais.
Design Details
The entrance features a hand-carved wooden façade referencing the House’s Epi leather pattern. Inside, a handcrafted Japanese wallpaper with a V-shaped motif forms the backdrop to the Women’s leather goods area, and macramé wall panels featuring the Monogram flower motif frame the ready-to-wear room around a yellow rug.
