MAGUGU HOUSE Cape Town marks a landmark collaboration celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Thebe Magugu’s fashion house. The opening coincides with the unveiling of the private THEBE MAGUGU SUITE, a two-storey Afro-modernist sanctuary on Palm Avenue. The suite features specially commissioned artworks, including A Reverence Like No Other (2025) by Mmangaliso Nzuza, extending Magugu’s universe into a spatial and atmospheric experience.

About Thebe Magugu

Thebe Magugu is a South African fashion designer recognized internationally for becoming the first African designer to win the LVMH Prize (2019). His collections combine sharp tailoring with social and political storytelling, exploring themes of African identity, history, and youth culture.
