Milk + Cookies today announces the first-wave lineup for its 2026 South Africa festival, returning to Cape Town and Johannesburg from 24 December 2025 to 14 January 2026.

Following last year’s breakthrough debut that drew over 20 000 attendees, the 2026 edition doubles down on what defines South Africa’s energy – music, creativity, and community. This announcement celebrates the artists, DJs, and producers who are shaping South Africa’s sound and exporting it worldwide – while continuing to build a bridge between South Africa and the global creative community.

This year’s lineup puts South Africa’s creative community at the center, pairing homegrown acts with global powerhouses and reflecting the full spectrum of the country’s sound, from amapiano and gqom to hip-hop, house, and R&B.

This return underscores Milk + Cookies’ ongoing commitment to community, creativity, and connection – values that have defined the brand since its inception. Beyond performances, the festival continues to go beyond the stage through:

  • Writing Camps for producers, songwriters, and vocalists.
  • Industry Panels connecting South African and international leaders.
  • Merch Pop-Ups spotlighting local designers and entrepreneurs.
