Palladium South Africa celebrates turning 75 years old
Craighall, Johannesburg, 27th October 2022 There’s no doubt that Palladium has come a long way since it’s inception in the 1920smanufacturing aeroplane tyres, On the 27th of October, at Speak Easy Tapas & Bistro in Craighall,
Palladium celebrated its 75 th anniversary; from military boots to the chunky-soled, trendy Revolt HI
TX, which are a fan favourite amongst influencers, the brand has come a long way as far as
innovation goes and remains the ultimate sole companion in both comfort and style.
Amongst the guests were the likes of trendy, top influencers Tumi Moliko (seen wearing Ladies
Revolt Sport Ranger in Dark Silver), Kamo Pule, Pam Zokuhle, Jay Pharasi, Kago Saul and Jenna
Berkowitz. Also in attendance were famed musician Langa Mavuso (seen wearing the
PallaTrooper Leather Boot) and fashion fundi’s such as and Jessie Tremmil (seen wearing Ladies
Revolt HI TX in black) and Bianca Raposo.


Guests were guided through the history of Palladium’s major, milestone decades, namely the
1920s, 1940s, 1970s, 1980s and the 1990s. Each of these milestone decades was represented by
an installation which was dedicated to communicating the importance of that decade to the
Palladium brand.
Palladium is a rare, lustrous, silvery-white metal with the symbol Pd and atomic number 46. It’s part of the platinum group metals (PGMs) and is known for its unique properties, including being the least dense and having the lowest melting point within that group. Palladium is highly valued for its use in catalytic converters, jewelry, and various industrial and medical applications
