PUMA & AC MILAN UNVEIL THE 24/25 AWAY KIT AT YANKEE STADIUM
Cape Town, South Africa — 29 July 2024 — PUMA and AC Milan have unveiled the club’s new Away kit for the 2024/25 season, combining classic Milanese elegance with modern performance technology.
The new jersey made its on-pitch debut at Yankee Stadium in New York, where AC Milan faced Manchester City in a pre-season friendly.
AC Milan’s New Away Kit Makes Its Debut
In a first for the club, AC Milan wore its traditional Home kit during the first half before switching to the newly unveiled Away kit after the break.
The surprise change gave fans their first look at the 2024/25 Away jersey in a match setting.
The design draws inspiration from AC Milan‘s history while embracing the understated sophistication associated with Milanismo.
The classic white base is complemented by a red-and-black polo collar and a monochromatic club crest, while a subtle tonal pinstripe pattern pays tribute to the club’s origins as the Milan Football and Cricket Club.
Designed for Performance
The 2024/25 AC Milan Away kit is available in both Authentic and Replica versions.
The Authentic jersey worn by the players features PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, engineered to reduce weight and friction while providing lightweight performance on the pitch.
The Replica version offers the same overall design with a more relaxed fit, making it suitable for supporters both on match days and as part of an everyday wardrobe.
Both versions feature PUMA’s dryCELL technology, which is designed to wick moisture away from the body to help keep players and fans comfortable.
A More Sustainable Football Jersey
PUMA has also incorporated its RE:FIBRE initiative into the Replica version of the jersey.
The technology uses recycled textile waste and other used polyester materials to create new materials, with the Replica jersey containing at least 95% recycled textile waste and other used polyester materials.
The move forms part of PUMA’s wider efforts to make its football products more circular and reduce reliance on new materials.
AC Milan and Manchester City Join Forces in New York
The Away kit launch also formed part of the wider “City and Milan for Change” initiative, supported by PUMA.
The programme brought AC Milan, Manchester City and community organisations together for activities focused on giving back to the New York community around the clubs’ pre-season fixture.
One of the highlights was a community football event in New Jersey on 26 July, bringing together more than 60 boys and girls from the Success Academy Charter Schools Soccer Program and the City in the Community Soccerbloc programme in Staten Island.
Legends from both clubs also participated in the event.
AC Milan and PUMA subsequently hosted an exclusive “House of Milan” event in Manhattan on 28 July to celebrate the new Away kit with guests, stakeholders and VIPs.
