Reality: “I swallowed my pride a while ago. I fell in so deep and never realised when it was time to call it quits. It is definitely the love that is a fool because really it can’t be me. All I do is spread it, take good care of it, because I believe it’s the cure to a healthy living. How can I live without something so amazing, a beautiful life shared like in the world of Disney. A life lived with no regrets, a life lived with daily smiles, and absolutely no heartbreaks. Pure intentions colliding can never be pain endured but explosion of happiness, of course.
I’ve invested all of me to this love that I don’t know how if I should ever live life with it. I overlooked days of pain because love always wins, I was told at the age of young. As much I’ve shared days crying, fighting to make this it work because it can never fail me. I’ve ignored days where love cheated on me with different individuals. Days were love beat me up till my left eye was blurry and teary in everyday living. For me, truth be told, love is never abusive.”
Remember this child: love is patient, love is pain, love is kind, love is beauty, and love is definitely a good feeling inside of you. So anything trying to disturb is surely a demon, “this too shall pass.”
As I became more patient, I spent countless years nurturing this love. It really has to give me something in return. Love can definitely change and love me back as I do. Love is forgiveness, and it’s infinite. Let’s try a different approach – maybe I should buy love a car with my lifetime savings. It doesn’t matter, love doesn’t have to work, who said love is about money anyway?! Actually I will just marry this love and we will be good together for the rest of our lives.
And in the end, this is exactly the reason why I’ve spent my life sad, depressed filled with anger and so much enxiety because I believed in something that was never there to take care of me as I believed, “LOVE IS STRONGER THAN PRIDE they said…
I forgot to do a self introspection first and know who I am, I forgot to take care of myself and pride myself in loving me. I rushed into taking care of things that couldn’t be explained by nobody… failed to even be taught in the biggest tertiary institutions by the world-renowned professors and philosophers. It’s simple that I never realised that the power of love starts from within and that LOVE IS GOD. The GOD who is the same reflection of me. Only then can love be shared out in the world.
It took me long enough to know that I am the love I’ve been longing for from others. Love yourselves, and you will attract the love you give yourself back to you.
