Reintroducing “The Speed LS”
The Speed LS – an archival model from the Fall 1998 women’s skate line – has been reissued by Vans this Spring. Embodying the street skating aesthetics of the late 90s, this season’s Speed LS receives a modernized upgrade for today’s skate style.
Originally resurrected through a Supreme collaboration in June 2023, this latest drop is a reimagined version featuring classic colorways that utilize fast paneling for a layered look and merges suede and mesh uppers that reflect the original design. Moulded tongue branding, a modernized mid-90s cupsole and exaggerated Sidestripe further elevate this authentic skate silhouette.
