What an amazing weekend! There’s nothing better then spending time outside with wonderful people who genuinely care about making an impact in our community.
When the team behind HalfDays first approached me about teaming up to do a fundraiser, I was immediately on board. The women behind the outdoor apparel company share a similar mission – making the outdoors more accessible, especially for women. Not every ski day has to be a full send, it’s not just totally okay to ski a half day – it’s a really fun way to do it. Within days we had a date set to Hike for a Cause!
The idea was simple, sell tickets with a suggested donation and pick a cause we all care about. They brought hats for the crew and I picked a hike through Chautauqua, one of my favorite places in Colorado. Then HalfDays took it a step further, recruiting other local companies for a killer post-hike party in the park!
