Festival-goers had the chance to watch live rap cyphers and battles, capturing the creativity and rhythm that drive the next wave of South Africa’s urban music and dance scene.
Mentors and industry figures including MashBeatz, K. Keed, and Hope Ramafalo as well as legendary South African Hip-Hop artist, Slikour, were on-site, engaging with participants and celebrating youth expression. The activation underscores Sunlight’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth creativity and connecting culture, music, and community in authentic ways.
