Inspired by the recognisable BIRKENSTOCK Milano, Cannes introduces a more luxurious interpretation through glossy leather straps, polished buckles and a tonal leather-wrapped footbed.
It is still unmistakably BIRKENSTOCK, but the detailing shifts the silhouette towards a more refined expression of everyday footwear — designed for those who want comfort without giving up a more considered finish.
THE MILANO, REWORKED
The Cannes takes its design cues from the Milano, one of BIRKENSTOCK’s established backstrapped styles.
Its defining feature is the combination of an open sandal construction with a supportive backstrap, giving the silhouette a balance between ease and structure.
For Cannes, that familiar foundation receives a premium update.
Glossy leather straps bring a cleaner, more polished appearance, while the shiny buckles add another layer of detail. The footbed is also wrapped in tonal leather, creating a more cohesive finish across the sandal.

The Cannes Collection is built around subtle changes rather than an entirely new silhouette.
