At the centre of the collection is the Milano #BOLD, a new interpretation of the classic backstrapped sandal that gives BIRKENSTOCK’s familiar shape a more substantial, menswear-focused character.
Priced at R4,899, the Milano #BOLD joins the existing #BOLD family alongside the Arizona #BOLD and the closed-toe Boston #BOLD, combining BIRKENSTOCK’s signature footbed with elevated materials and hardware.
THE MILANO GETS THE #BOLD TREATMENT
The Milano has long been recognised for its distinctive ankle strap and practical, structured sandal profile.
For the #BOLD edition, BIRKENSTOCK keeps that defining silhouette but upgrades the construction with an aniline leather upper featuring a natural grain.
The result is a richer-looking version of the Milano, with the character of the leather becoming an important part of the design.
Adding to the elevated finish are uniquely designed double-pinned brass buckles, giving the sandal a more substantial hardware treatment than the standard Milano.
