Majid Jordan South Africa Milk and Cookies Festival 2026

Johannesburg, 27 November 2025 — Milk + Cookies Festival is officially back and bigger than ever, announcing Majid Jordan and Gunna as co-headliners for its highly anticipated return to South Africa. The globally acclaimed duo behind hits like Her, Waves of Blue and You, are set to deliver a landmark performance that bridges South Africa’s deep-rooted soulful sound with the progressive energy defining global R&B and alternative culture today.

The announcement marks a major moment for SA’s festival calendar, reinforcing Milk + Cookies’ mission to bring world-class acts to local stages while uplifting the country’s thriving creative community.

After a sold-out 2025 debut headlined by Kaytranada, which attracted more than 20,000 fans, Milk + Cookies Music Week returns from 19 December 2025 to 13 January 2026 — promising a cultural celebration that honours South Africa’s heritage, empowers its youth, and spotlights its leading talent.

Introducing the Move Mzansi Stage — Powered by Extreme

Returning for a second year, Extreme joins the festival as an official partner with an even stronger commitment to championing South Africa’s youth culture. The partnership unveils a brand-new attraction: the Move Mzansi Stage — Powered by Extreme, a high-energy platform dedicated to movement-led music, dance culture, and the next generation of South African creators.

The stage celebrates the heartbeat of SA’s youth — from Amapiano and Deep House to Electronic and Dance — while giving rising DJs, dancers and cultural innovators a world-class space to showcase their craft.

Extreme’s Move Mzansi movement is rooted in the belief that positive energy, bold self-expression and purposeful movement unlock human potential. The brand continues to fuel a generation of dreamers and doers, and the Move Mzansi Stage reflects this mission: a bold, inclusive dancefloor built for unity, self-expression and cultural evolution.
