The Levi’s® Brand Takes Flight with Elevated Global Craftsmanship for Fall/Winter 2026 Blue Tab™ Collection

Levi’s Blue Tab Fall/Winter 2026 Collection Takes Flight

Johannesburg, 1 September 2026 — Rooted in premium denim and elevated icons, Blue Tab™ is the Levi’s® brand’s most pinnacle and sophisticated expression of the denim lifestyle. Blue Tab combines the brand’s authentic, timeless aesthetic with bespoke craftsmanship, infused with modernity. The Fall/Winter 2026 Blue Tab collection draws inspiration from 1940s aviators and early female pilots like Amelia Earhart, translating the romance of flight into a rigorously modern wardrobe that spans denim, leather, suede, cashmere, and wool.

This season marks a significant evolution for Blue Tab, expanding beyond its roots in Japanese denim craftsmanship to embrace pinnacle materials and elevated construction from around the world. The collection balances a heritage denim capsule – grounded in Levi’s® archival silhouettes – with an entirely new range of luxury fabrications, from Italian-made leather and suede to cashmere-wool knitwear and eight-wale corduroy. Japanese craftsmanship and pure indigo denim remain central to the collection, now joined by materials that signal Blue Tab’s emergence as a truly global premium offering.

For men, the collection leads with outerwear that reinterprets classic flight gear. The Pilot Jacket takes inspiration from a 1950s pilot jacket, updated with a modern fit and refined trims. The Suede Bomber, crafted in Italy in a rich deep-toned suede, reimagines the classic bomber in self-fabric. The Denim Bomber draws on a historical 1980s Levi’s® garment, preserving its distinctive round shoulder while sharpening the silhouette, and pairs with the wide barrel-leg Denim Cargo with a vintage wash. The Casual Blazer in eight-wale corduroy and the Shirt Jacket – featuring a corduroy collar and a double-faced interior paying tribute to the historical Levi’s® blanket stripe – round out the outerwear. Tops include a Boxy Shirt in Jaspe denim, a short-sleeve shirt with a fine Japanese stripe, a cotton Turtleneck Sweatshirt, and a classic Cashmere Sweater in oatmeal and grey heather. The new Pencil Slim – a non-stretch, slightly high-rise straight leg with Orange Tab construction details – joins the Wide Leg Flyer and Chino Trouser in bottoms.

The women’s range opens with the Flight Jacket, a textured Italian leather style inspired by Earhart-era imagery, paired with a wide-leg Denim Pleated Trouser in pure indigo 2×1 denim. The Sherpa Jacket, with its updated silhouette, pairs with a flared pure indigo Circle Skirt alongside a strong-shouldered double-breasted wool Blazer. New tops include the oversized Core Woven in a fine shirting, a scallop-edged cotton Lace Woven, and a slim-top Denim Flare Dress in lightweight Japanese denim. The Denim Shirt Dress arrives in heavyweight denim with an intentional surface-damaged texture across the entire garment. In bottoms, the new ‘70s Flare joins the line alongside the Italian-made Suede Pencil Skirt – a mid-rise classic silhouette in warm, rich suede – and continuing styles including the Blue Tab 70s 501®, Drop Barrel, and Denim Pleat Trouser.

“Blue Tab is about staying true to the Levi’s brand, using the best materials and finish techniques, to elevate timeless classics to premium essentials,” said Paul O’Neill, Levi’s Design Director for Blue Tab. “Japanese denim and craftsmanship remain central to what we do, but now we’re also sourcing the finest materials from around the world, from Italian leather to premium cashmere, and wool, elevating the collection while staying true to our Levi’s DNA.”

The Fall/Winter 2026 Blue Tab campaign presents the collection not simply as clothing, but as a living monument – where garment, space, and light exist in quiet dialogue. Set within open-air, architectural environments, the imagery adopts a minimal, precise, and museum-like sensibility, exploring the relationship between body and structure. Aviation is expressed subtly through a sense of openness, balance, and controlled movement rather than literal references. Garments are positioned with intention, using natural light, strong lines, and negative space to highlight silhouette, texture, and craftsmanship. The result is a mood that is both natural and refined, positioning Blue Tab as Levi’s® most premium expression while echoing the spirit of flight that underpins the collection.

The Blue Tab™ Fall/Winter 2026 collection will be available worldwide starting in August at select Levi’s® stores and online at Levi.com. Each piece carries the distinctive Blue Tab™ label, marking it as part of the brand’s most premium expression.
