Levi’s® and Barbour Unite: A Celebration of Heritage, Craftmanship, and Adventure
Levi’s® and Barbour Unite
San Francisco, CA, October 30, 2025 – Two titans of functional design, the Levi’s® brand and British heritage craftsman, Barbour, have come together in a transatlantic collaboration that honors over 170 years of shared heritage, craftsmanship, and adventure. The Levi’s® x Barbour collection celebrates the intersection of utility and style that define both legendary brands by creating new expressions of original design methods.

Levi’s® and Barbour Unite
The Levi’s® and Barbour unite collection fuses the best of both worlds – Barbour’s signature waxed cotton and Levi’s® legendary denim – to create a limited-edition range of jackets, apparel, and accessories that blend functionality, endurance, and timeless style. Each piece pays homage to the workwear roots and craftsmanship that have defined both brands for generations, with the partnership exploring how function and form unite in pieces that carry the soul of their makers.

The women’s Levi’s® x Barbour Spey Wax Jacket reimagines Barbour’s classic silhouette in tobacco wax with brown cord collar, featuring pocket flaps shaped like Levi’s® iconic arcuate, trucker-style cuffs and waistband, and a back-cinch characteristic of Levi’s® archival denim. With moleskin pocket lining and co-branded elements throughout, the piece bridges outdoor functionality with authentic Western workwear DNA. For men, the Levi’s® x Barbour Bedale appears in two distinct iterations: a dark navy desert wax version with black cord collar featuring front panels and modern tartan lining, and a denim workwear-inspired version with triple needle topstitching, antique brass metal trims, and resin rinse finish for authentic durability.
The Levi’s® x Barbour Type II Waxed Jacket leverages Barbour’s most traditional colorway in archive olive with brown cord collar, while the Type II Denim version offers mid-wash indigo denim with a distinctively Barbour green cord collar and tonal embroidery at the cuff placket.
For bottoms, the Levi’s® x Barbour 578 Pleated Corduroys feature deep pleats with classic tartan binding at the outseam and “Barbour” embroidery added to the coin pocket. The interior artwork, drawn directly from the Levi’s® and Barbour archives and united by a shared stylistic language, celebrates the working heritage of both brands – featuring Barbour fisherman and Levi’s® miner graphics printed on the pocketbags. The Levi’s® x Barbour 568 Loose offers a dark worn-in finish with the same interior artwork and tartan binding details, emphasizing authentic, lived-in character. Both bottoms have co-branded jacron patches at the back waistband featuring each brands’ iconic logos printed in Barbour’s signature green.
The collection includes a heavyweight Levi’s® x Barbour Hoodie in rosin featuring co-branded artwork that integrates Barbour’s classic beacon brand artwork with the Levi’s® two-horse pull logo. The Levi’s® x Barbour Graphic Tee features a mashup graphic celebrating both brands’ historic intellectual property. Capping off the collection, the Levi’s® x Barbour Waxed Cap comes in olive wax with classic tartan lining, antique brass closure, and a Levi’s® red tab at the brim.
Each waxed garment in this collection uses Barbour’s premium beeswax-infused cotton, designed to develop rich character with age, just as Levi’s® denim fades and personalises over time.
The campaign celebrates true mastery: the quiet dedication behind every stitch, rivet, and seam. Shot by photographer and director Tbone Fletcher with styling by Tirino Yspol, the collection’s campaign serves as a visual homage to legacy, labor, and the quiet poetry of repetition. Framed through the lens of the 10,000-hour rule of mastery, it highlights authentic craftspeople as protagonists rather than traditional models – individuals who have dedicated themselves to perfecting their methods, skills, and techniques. Featured makers include Shivas Howard Brown, founder of Friendly Pressure who crafts bespoke speakers and sound systems; ceramics designer Lev Rosenbush; furniture maker Andu Masebo; and jewelry maker Ellie Mercer. The collection honors the enduring legacy of craft, resilience, and dedication that Levi’s® and Barbour have embodied for generations, while celebrating modern makers as they forge new legacies for the future.
Extending the celebration of longevity and repair, the Levi’s® x Barbour Re-Loved program gives new life to old garments. Vintage Levi’s® denim is restored and reimagined using Barbour’s iconic waxed fabrics, creating one-of-a-kind patchwork jackets and 501® jeans that celebrate both durability and artistry. Each piece tells its own story of wear, repair, and renewal, reflecting the brands’ shared belief that great clothes get better with time. The Re-Loved range will be available at select locations on November 20th, including Selfridges London and flagship Levi’s® and Barbour stores in Tokyo.
The Levi’s® x Barbour collection launches worldwide on October 30th, and will be available for purchase on Levi.co.za, in select Levi’s® Stores, and Barbour retail channels.

Forever synonymous with the British countryside, Barbour’s collections now span from the best practical country clothing to fashion-forward lifestyle collections. To this day Barbour’s ranges continue to be inspired by the company’s archives which date back to 1910 – each season classic designs are re-interpreted into modern, contemporary silhouettes.
